Daily movement decreases early mortality!

You’re busy. You drive your kids to all their activities. You juggle tasks at work. You maintain a living space. With all that on your plate, who has the time to work out like crazy to stay healthy? And the good news is you don’t have to!
A brand new study found that as long you move a little bit each day, you decrease your risk of premature death. No, this study didn’t look at bodybuilders or triathletes. It focused on the average person and their activities such as climbing stairs or simply walking around.
That’s good news! Just make sure you are up and moving a bit throughout your day and you will increase your life span. Find a flight of stairs to climb. Or walk around your neighborhood. Or chase your kiddos around the backyard. All that matters is that you are up and moving!
Are you walking less because it bothers your hips or knees? Are you not able to bend over to play with your children because your back aches? Let’s chat about how physical therapy can resolve that barriers to movement!
